Rural, urban or a renovation, what’s better for you?
Let us help you decided what French property would suit you best!
Rural houses:
As far as the price is concerned, this kind of house is as expensive as a house located in a town centre because of its land, but also owing to its view over the landscape. Indeed, houses in the countryside benefit from peaceful surroundings where all you may hear is the far away noise of farming machines and the tweeting of birds. So if you enjoy silence and calm, you’re probably after a rural house, but hold on there’s more…
You are not obliged to be a farmer to have a stable, a cowshed or a sheepfold built on your land. If you have enough land, there is nothing more enchanting than seeing your own horses grazing in their paddock, or listening to the cockerel crow every morning.
Nevertheless, if you can’t put up with living away from city life, far from amenities and maybe your work , you may prefer a town house.
Town houses:
Very close to all that you need (place of work, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, night clubs and other shops…) a house in the town centre offers everything you want within walking distance. You won’t need to take your car and drive several miles just to do your shopping.
On our website you may sometimes come across charming old townhouses with traditional furniture, maybe dating as far back as various Kings of France like Louis XIV or Louis XV. Look out for tables, clocks or armchairs!
City life may be exciting, but is there anything more thrilling than owning the house of your dreams?
