Halloweem festival in Limoges
The Celtic Halloween festival has been introduced in the Limoges calendar since 1996. Every year, on October 31st, the town organises a street parade and story-telling events. It is so typical and popular that it attracts thirty to fifty thousand spectators. The parade is fancy dress as people wear traditional costumes… and of course there are ghosts and candle-lit carved out pumpkins! There are also parties in local shops and eateries of the town. So if you are around in Limousin at the end of the month, why not learning how to say “trick or treat” in French?!
