Buy a French Vineyard
Have you ever dreamt of having your own vineyard and perhaps create your own Cuvé?
Despite what some may believe, possessing a vineyard is not that expensive. More and more investors from China and Russia are looking into French Vineyards, and the investment activity is increasing day by day in this area.
France has 17 wine regions, out of whom Bordeaux and Burgundy are most famous. Some regions such as Provence and Languedoc Roussillon are less renowned but still deserve special attention due to their landscape.
With a very assertive personality, Provence is home to an exceptional variety of wines. The region specialises in generous and fruity rosé wines, but also produces strong and robust reds, and delicate whites.
The Languedoc-Roussillon is situated in a zone with Mediterranean climate, characterized by mild winters, hot and dry summers, and low rainfall. The prevailing wind, the Tramontane, dries the vines and prevents diseases. This remarkable climate is ideal for growing grapes.
Everywhere in France, you can find less renowned vineyards at attractive prices. French Vineyards usually consist of beautiful stone houses and acres of land, and currently the demand for such properties is on the rise.
You can also benefit from “The Wine Table Classification”. There are 2 kinds of classification in France: AOC (controlled designation of origin) and Wine Table. AOC wines are of higher quality. The AOC classification has very strict rules that cover methods of growing and producing, localization, grape-variety and minimum contents of alcohol.
Without experience in wine growing activity, you can take care of your vines as for doing the routine maintenance, cutting and pruning. However, you will need the help of specialised workers to spray and harvest your vines.
Buying a vineyard is a pleasure investment but it also allows you to escape paying the ISF (wealth tax). You can in your wealth tax, and can add an invaluable asset to your portfolio by investing in a French Vineyard.
