And the winner is… Midi Pyrenees!
Do you consider purchasing a property in France? How to choose wisely your place to live?
An article from The Connexion’s Newspaper emphasizes a recent and very useful OECD survey.
The OECD, a pioneer in this field of research, has been working for more than a decade to identify the best way to measure the progress of societies –moving beyond GDP and examining the areas that impact people’s lives. In 2011, the OECD presented the Better Life Initiative.
The OECD scored and ranked all the French regions according to 11 “well being criteria” which are community, education, environment, civic engagement, health, housing, income, jobs, life satisfaction, safety and work-life balance
According to the survey, The Midi-Pyrénées region reaches the top of the list with a score of 7.82 out of 10. It would be the best place to live in France.
The Midi-Pyrénées is put at the same level as southern Sweden, Umbira in Italy and Madrid in Spain.
