Which activities can you plan for your winter holidays?
Holidays in the mountains are not limited to alpine skiing. Numerous activities are organised by ski stations in order to meet everyone’s wishes, whatever your interests may be! Of course, you are likely to enjoy a lot of sports activities such as cross-country skiing, dog sledding, snowshoeing, rambling, snowboarding, or sledging amongst a mountain of others (if you’ll excuse the terrible pun). But mountain holidays will surprise you! You can also go paragliding when the weather is clear, and contemplate the astounding snowy landscape. For the less sporty among you, you will also have the opportunity to discover the unique environment of the Alps and to enjoy activities to enhance your well-being, such as spending a relaxing moment in the spa, visiting small mountain villages, museums or even doing a creative leisure or cooking course. Children are always well catered for in ski resorts. Ski stations generally offer a wide variety of sporting and creative activities for
kids, including sculpture making, stained glass making, gymnastics, dance, ping-pong or karate courses. Nurseries are open all-day long for children aged between 6 months and 5 years.
