Antibes: Picasso museum re-open its doors!
On 28th March, the doors will re-open at the Picasso Museum (it uses to belong to Grimaldi family), in Antibes, marking the launch of a series of events in the region offering the chance to discover the artist’s work and his influences.
Antibes, a prolific period for Picasso. More than 200 works illuminate his renovated museum. New areas and a vast programme! The opportunity to look in a new light at what is called Picasso’s Antibes period, by comparing works produced during his stay at Grimaldi castle in the autumn of 1946, which today form the centre of the collection of the museum in Antibes, with those that immediately preceded and followed this period.
